Marketing our way forward
Duncan and Paul report: “This year has seen a big increase in both the amount of marketing activity, as well as the variety of content and targeting. Our new website – online now for just over twelve months – has had a great deal of positive feedback, and the news pages are updated weekly in order to give a flavour of what really goes on behind the big blue doors of the Fairlie Shed. The site now has a ‘What’s in the Shed’ and ‘What’s on the Drawing Board’ pages in order to keep everyone up to speed on exactly what is happening at Fairlie, who, these days, are assisting in many more projects all around the World.
Supporting our active marketing and advertising role, Press Relations plays an important part in the publicity drive. Fairlie’s work has been featured in key yachting magazines with ‘Lucky Girl’ in the news section of Boat International and the new concept yachts in the ‘New Design’ feature in the January 2008 issue. Yachting World featured the ‘Altair’ refit in considerable depth, plus the new concept yachts in the Supersail section.”
