Spirit of Britannia
In continuing support of the charitable side of the sailing industry, the design office is currently helping Trinity Sailing to adapt their new vessel, ‘Spirit of Britannia’, to suit her new sail training career. Paul and Tom recently carried out and inclining test on the yacht and work now includes re-ballasting and a sail plan reduction. Spirit of Britannia is 70’ overall and was built in 1915 as a fishing smack in Boston, Lincolnshire. She will sail with Trinity Sailing’s other vessels, Provident, Leader and Golden Vanity, out of Brixham in Devon.
