Superyacht UK Tour of Excellence 2008
Superyacht UK is a flagship organisation which represents the UK Superyacht sector. Annually the organisation runs a Tour of Excellence which includes visits to major Superyacht yards and equipment manufacturers over a three day programme.
This year Fairlie will host approximately 20 delegates from this tour on 23rd April. The Tour of Excellence will be an excellent opportunity for Fairlie to showcase the services offered to an invited group of international Superyacht delegates, including project managers, designers, naval architects, owner's representatives, yards, brokers and captains.
Guests will be shown ‘Lucky Girl’, the 1909 Fife 8m yacht currently nearing the end of a full restoration project and ‘Niebla’ an 18m new build cruising yacht built at the yard in 2005 which has been in the yard for a short refit. Meanwhile in the joiners shop deck structures currently being built for a large European project will be on display.
The design office will be displaying both internal design work and external design services being offered to projects both in the UK and abroad.
