Fairlie’s part in the World Superyacht Awards
Lulworth, the yacht restored in Italy with full Naval Archtectural consultancy and designs by Paul Spooner of Fairlie has been awarded the World Superyacht Award for Best Refit 2007. (see design consultancy page of this site).
The awards took place in Venice in April and Lulworth beat 3 motor yachts and one other sailing yacht to win this award. This is the first time that the complete Restoration of a Vintage Yacht has been honoured in this way.
The award for best sailing yacht went to the ‘Maltese Falcon’ and for best Motor yacht to ‘Kogo’
